Jaswant Singh Khalra was a prominent Human rights activist who uncovered illegal mass killings and cremations of Sikhs in Panjab, India.

Jaswant Singh Khalra estimated that there could have been over 25,000 Sikhs illegally killed and cremated by the state during 1980's and 1990's.

On 6 September 1995, Jaswant Singh Khalra was abducted and murdered by Punjab Police
